Music City Realty was born from a desire to elevate the standard of real estate and property management in Middle Tennessee. After years of helping families, owners, and investors across the region, it became clear that the industry needed a brokerage rooted in communication, strategy, and genuine care for people. Too many clients felt overlooked, underserved, or unsupported during some of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Music City Realty was created to change that experience.

Hello, I am Ernest K. Johnson, SRS, AHWD – Broker and Owner of Music City Realty – Your Track to Freedom.
Born and raised in Nashville, I’ve had the unique opportunity to watch this remarkable city grow, transform, and flourish. My real estate journey began in 2006 when I earned my Tennessee Real Estate license. Over the years, I’ve advanced from a committed Real Estate Agent to an experienced Real Estate Broker, and ultimately the proud founder of my own firm, Music City Realty.
As a company, Music City Realty is a proud member of the National Association of REALTORS® and the Greater Nashville REALTORS®. We are also actively engaged in professional leadership through NAREB, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, where I serve on Nashville’s Executive Board as 2026’s 1st Vice President, and NARPM, the National Association of Residential Property Managers, where I serve on Nashville’s Executive Board as President. These roles reflect my deep commitment to advancing our industry and advocating for clients and communities across Middle Tennessee.
I hold two highly regarded professional designations: the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), the premier credential in seller representation, and At Home With Diversity (AHWD), which equips me to skillfully serve clients in a rapidly changing multicultural market. These designations, combined with years of experience, allow me to apply U.S. fair housing principles in practice, honor cultural awareness, and provide clients with strategic guidance that consistently produces results.
